    Description

This is a veryrare 1992 Lincoln Mark VII LSC Black Edition with 29,000 original miles.
I purchased the car exactly 10 years ago inJune 2011 when it had 23,000 miles on it.
It has a clear Tennessee title which does show the mileage (at the timeof purchase) on the title and it has a clean Carfax report.
I’m selling just to make room for some newprojects I’m working on.
The car isgarage kept and adult-driven.
It isfinished in Titanium Pearlescent Clearcoat Metallic with Light Titanium leatherinterior with dark grey piping on the seats.
1992 was the final year for the Mark VII model.
I haven’t beenable to ever find to much history on the Black Edition LSCs other than theyare very rare.
From an appearancestandpoint it has the blacked-out trim very similar to the Special EditionLSCs of the ’91 and ’92 model years.
However, it has a re-programmed ECU making 25 more horsepower thanthe standard LSC models.
Ford has beenpretty famous for making very limited-edition models in the final year ofproduction of several of their cars, such as the Collector’s Edition of the1979 Mark V and again the same for the final year of the Mark VIII in 1998.
This one isequipped with every option except the cell phone and the 1-year only Sony CDplayer.
The option list on these Markswas rather short but these are the ones this car is equipped with:
JBL PremiumAudio System w/ Cassette player.
Theplayer does work as far as I know but I haven’t tested it in quite some timebecause I finally threw away all of my old cassettes about 4 years ago.
Traction-Lokrear end which is Ford speak for posi-traction.
    Leather seats
    Power Moonroof(which does work)
    ElectrochromaticAutomatic Diming Mirror
    Anti-theftalarm system.
Alarm does work butunfortunately the remote doesn’t work any longer.
    The Good:
    The paint isin pristine condition.
    A/C does work.
    Air ridesystem works.
The newertires have only about 5,000 miles on them.
I did replacethe battery with a factory OE-style Motorcraft battery.
The spare tirelooks to have never been out of the car and it includes the tool kit with thelocking lug nut key.
I put a newwindshield in the car when I bought it.
The original windshield was functioning fine but it was starting to showsigns of age-related delamination in the corners.
I chose to replace the windshield because Ididn’t like the looks of the delamination since the rest of the car was in suchgreat condition.
I justrecently replaced the transmission pressure cable.
This is a common failure item with all Fordproducts of this era.
Most of the timethe bushing breaks at the throttle body connection.
However, in this case the cable itselfbroke.
I bought an aftermarket cablethat is much more robust that the factory one.
Installed myself and is working great.
It does stillhave the removable Cat Marchal driving light covers.
Those are usually missing from cars this age.
The originalfront and rear floor mats are also still in good condition.
Again, those are often missing from cars thisage.
    The Bad:
The pushbutton electronic message system stopped working a couple of years ago.
    Not sure why.
The power doorlocks are not working.
I think this hassomething to do with the anti-theft alarm but not sure.
The keyless entry does still work but againwill not lock the car but will unlock the trunk.
The car islocated in Knoxville TN and available for inspection.
