Description

Very well maintained 2000 Mercedes E320 4-Matic (All Wheel Drive) late model wagon with low miles:
When we purchased this car, we wanted two things: A safe car for our children and a rust free car. We chose Mercedes for safety & California for the latter. We bought it from Los Angeles in 2015. We began with a full checkup at arrival in San Francisco. Everything that was identified was repaired, or replaced (for example air suspension and brand new genuine Mercedes A/C). We initiated a regular service schedule following the Mercedes-Benz service recommendations. The car received routine oil services every 5000 miles and only synthetic oil has been used (as recommended). We even replaced the LCDs in the instrument panel. (typically those suffer from defective pixels).
All four catalytic converters have been rerplaced. This means California smog won't be a problem for a minimum of 10 years and you won't have to spend 00.00 on replacing them.
This version of the Mercedes E320 is renowned for its durability & reliability and it's already a design classic. Because these E320 V6 engines typically last 300,000 miles before needing any major work, at merely 120,000 miles this is considered a low mileage car.
The car provides 3rd row fold out seats, allowing a total of 7 people to sit comfortably. All seats can be folded out flat to offer an almost queen size area for comfortable sleeping, or transporting bulky items.
Thanks to the air suspension and the powerful 6cyl 3.2L engine, this car accelerates quickly, corners extremely well & stable and cruises at whichever speed you feel comfortable, while keeping the fuel economy at about 25 miles per gallon. It's a perfect touring vehicle and the 4-wheel drive keeps it stable even in mud, or on snowed in roads.
Because we have an electric car for commuting, this Mercedes was solely used for road trips (free way driving) up the West Coast.

As you can see, the car is completely up to date and all things that might typically fail on this car have been replaced with new parts.
THINGS TO TAKE CARE OF (IF YOU WANT):
This is not necessary, but if you want, you can have the Sensor for the passenger seat Airbag replaced. The oil sensor periodically gives false messages (confirmed by Mercedes) and the LCD display of the temperature zone display has a pixel missing.
COSMETICS:
Bumpers on these cars are, like most modern cars, made from plastic. The front left corner (see photos) is chipped from a meeting with a wall while making parking maneuvers. The rear door has a dent just underneath the rear window, but nothing is defective. Paint is original. The carpets inside are clean but do show some use and the driver & passenger seats show some wear on the leather covers, but no tears (see photos). You may see a few small dents, but nothing big to speak of.
FINALLY:
I am confident, that this car is extremely well maintained and I doubt you will have to invest anything in the near future - No ugly surprises. However... the typical disclaimer for a used car also goes for mine: No implied warranties or guarantees. I think you will have a hard time finding a more reliable version of this wagon that also comes with the benefit of not having to anticipate some higher maintenance bill anytime soon.
