    Description

    “Romanesque” was a pattern made by the L E Smith glass company in the late 1920s to early 1930s. This particular bowl is very hard to find.  A beautiful Green colorful uranium glass, so it glows under UV light, as pictured.
    Lovely scalloped edge design, measuring 10” in diameter across outer edge.  This bowl is three footed and sits approximately 4 1/4” tall. It weighs almost 3 pounds without packaging.
    Depression glass patterns, can fall into two categories: Art Nouveau and Art Deco. There are delicate, stylized floral patterns in the Art Nouveau category, and angular, geometric patterns that are more Art Deco.
    This bowl has no chips or cracks.  It does have bubbles and swirls in the glass natural to glass of this time period.  There is very light scratching, notable when held into the light.
    This would be an excellent addition to any uranium glass collection.
    Also a great gift for fans of Art Deco design.
