For sale is an antique Schuco black cat perfume atomizer dating circa the 1920s. The cat has a circular black velvet body, with green and black glass eyes, and chenille feet. I believe the lavender ribbon bow is original. The cat measures approx. 2.5 inches tall at tips of ears, and 2.25 inches long. The cat’s brass nose is actually a spray nozzle for a perfume atomizer concealed within the cat’s body. Condition is good, having wear and soiling commensurate with age and use. The cat is missing its tail. One glass eye is cracked, and has a very small margin flake. There is perfume residue around the brass nose/nozzle. I am unable to open the threaded brass cap on the bottom of the cat. It looks as though the original rubber gasket has caused the cap to become stuck.
