For sale in this auction is for a very Interesting Paul Poiret Antique Perfume Bottle,
Made in France c.1919 by Parfums de Rosine.
This perfume  bottle is called
~ Aladin ~
and it is made of silver color metal, could be Pewter... It is marked at the bottom
ALADIN PARFUMS DE ROSINE PARIS FRANCE
engraved on the bottom, The overall design shows some animal figures in raised design, It still has some of the red patina that originally was present.
The original stopper is missing, but I'm sending you with this other stopper ( Complimentary) which is has faceted design, it just sits on top, not tight in place.
The bottle measures approx 2" inches tall to the very top of the neck without the stopper and 2 1/4" inches wide at the bottom.
The metal is very solid, no cracks or dents that I can see... It has a metal chain that attchaes to the bottle in each side,,, very original and fancy style in those years.. But coming from Paul Poiret that is the way he was, everything had to be special, like this Perfume bottle. He was the most Avant Garde French Designer (Couturier) in the early 1900's.
